Anna Turnage is a PhD candidate in the Communication, Rhetoric and Digital Media program at NC State. Her research interests include digital rhetoric, rhetorical theory, computer-mediated communication and organizational communication. Her dissertation focuses on the use of metaphor in e-mail communication at Enron Corporation and the bridging of dialectical tensions in the workplace. She has published work in The Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication, The Southern Communication Journal and The Communication Review.
